Terms
The rules of the road.
These terms explain what you can expect from resumes.vegas and what we expect from you. They're short on lawyer-speak and heavy on fairness.
Last updated: April 23, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of resumes.vegas, operated by Poker Games Interactive (“we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract.
- Create one account per person. Accounts are personal and non-transferable. You may not share credentials, resell access, or use the service on behalf of someone else.
- At onboarding you’ll be asked for the first name that will appear on your resumes. Our Truth Guard / Identity Guard checks use that name to make sure the account is really yours — we compare it against the name extracted from every resume you upload, and we’ll block or hold an upload for review if there’s a clear mismatch.
- You’re responsible for activity on your account. Enable MFA if you want an extra layer of security.
- Keep your email address current so we can reach you about security issues, billing, and important changes.
Honest use
resumes.vegas is built on a principle we call Truth Guard: we don’t fabricate experience, certifications, titles, dates, or outcomes. Our AI is designed to refuse unsupported claims, and our Identity Guard checks whether the name on a resume matches the account holder. But the product is only as honest as the input, so we ask the same of you:
- Upload only your own work history. Don’t copy another person’s resume and pass it off as yours.
- Don’t enter experience, credentials, or achievements you didn’t actually earn.
- When you update an existing role, the dates, employer, and degree should stay consistent with prior submissions. Adding new roles and achievements is expected; rewriting history isn’t.
- Don’t use the service to deceive employers, recruiters, or automated screening tools.
We may suspend or terminate accounts we believe are being used to misrepresent, or that repeatedly trigger Identity Guard findings.
What you own
- Your content stays yours. You retain all rights to the profile data, resumes, cover letters, and generated versions you create through the service.
- You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your content strictly to provide the service to you — running AI pipelines, storing versions, computing match scores, and delivering exports.
- If you submit a testimonial and an admin approves it, you grant us a non-exclusive license to display it on the marketing site with the display name you provided, until you withdraw it from Settings.
- Our platform stays ours. The resumes.vegas software, branding, UI, AI prompts, templates, and documentation are our intellectual property.
What we don’t guarantee
We help you present your experience better. We don’t guarantee:
- That you’ll get interviews or job offers. That depends on many things outside this product.
- That job match results are complete, exhaustive, or free of bias. We surface opportunities from approved public RSS / ATS feeds on a best-effort basis, and those postings are owned and controlled by their originating employers / boards, not us. Links, titles, and availability can change or disappear at any time.
- That AI-generated text will pass every applicant tracking system or satisfy every recruiter. ATS scoring is probabilistic, not deterministic.
- That the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We aim high, but things break. Please tell us when they do.
Acceptable use
Don’t:
- Scrape, crawl, or programmatically mass-generate content.
- Reverse-engineer, probe, or attempt to extract our AI prompts or internal models.
- Upload malware, illegal content, or content that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Use the service to spam, harass, discriminate, or commit fraud.
- Bypass usage limits, authentication, rate controls, or the First-50 inactivity clause through automation or multiple accounts.
Fees, credits, and billing
resumes.vegas runs on a credit-based model. One credit tailors one resume or generates one cover letter. Credit packs are purchased through Stripe; current pricing and any active promotions are shown at checkout.
- Credits are non-refundable once spent, and non-transferable between accounts. Unspent credits do not expire while your account is open.
- Refunds on unused purchases. If you bought a credit pack you haven’t touched yet and want a refund, email billing@resumes.vegas within 14 days of purchase. Partial refunds on partially-used packs are handled case-by-case.
- Failed payments. If Stripe reports a charge failure, we may suspend credit issuance until the payment succeeds. No content is deleted while a payment is pending.
- Taxes. Prices shown at checkout may be exclusive of VAT / GST / local sales tax, which Stripe calculates and collects where required.
First-50 lifetime program
The first 50 people to create an account receive lifetime free use of the core tailoring and cover letter features for their own resumes. Because this is a gift, not a subscription, it comes with a few conditions:
- One person, one account. The program is a personal benefit. Using a First-50 account for anyone other than the person it was created for — drafting resumes for a spouse, friend, or client, sharing logins, etc. — is a violation and will result in termination of the lifetime benefit.
- Daily fair-use cap. First-50 accounts can tailor up to 5 resumes per day at no cost. If you need more in a single day, you can buy credit packs at the normal rate and those additional tailorings draw from the purchased pool.
- 12-month inactivity clause. If you don’t sign in for 12 consecutive months, the lifetime benefit is revoked. We’ll email you first and give you a grace period to come back before taking any action. This isn’t punitive — it just keeps the benefit reserved for people still using it.
- Identity verification. First-50 accounts are still subject to the Truth Guard / Identity Guard checks; if the account shows signs of being used for someone else, the lifetime benefit may be revoked.
Job postings on the public board
Roles shown on /boardare aggregated from public feeds published by third parties (Remotive, We Work Remotely, Himalayas, Jobicy, Greenhouse, Lever, and similar). We don’t warrant their accuracy, availability, or that any given role still exists. When you click through to apply you are leaving resumes.vegas and entering the originating employer’s / board’s own environment, subject to their terms and privacy practices.
Termination
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Everything we store about you is purged within 30 days (backups within 90 days).
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with notice where reasonable. Severe cases (fraud, attempted platform abuse, credential sharing, confirmed identity mismatches) may be terminated without prior notice.
- If your account is terminated for a violation, any unspent purchased credits may be refunded at our discretion. Lifetime First-50 benefits are not refundable since no fee was paid.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express, implied, or statutory), including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of job offers, employment, or opportunities.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute that can’t be resolved informally will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
Changes to these Terms
When we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the new Terms. Non-material edits will be noted by updating the date at the top of this page.
